If it's going on in the community, WJDT wants to keep you informed.

WJDT will announce your community event. Please email your event at least two weeks in advance to wjdtfm@planetc.com.

Where possible, we try to provide a phone number so you can double check happenings in the community. Events can and do change without notification, so we encourage you to call before attending.

Current Lakeway Happenings

• The place to be every third Friday of the month is Fun Expedition. It's the Friday Night Bash. At 9:30pm get your crew together and come on out for 3 hours of unlimited play for only $15. Ride and play all you want. Go karts, lazer tag, bowling, over 80 arcade games plus a dance room will all the hottest jams. It's the 3rd Friday--Friday Night Bash.

• Music lovers get ready, It's Pickin in the Park Each Thursday at 6pm at Fred Miller Park. Grab your guitar, fiddle or favorite instrument and come on out for a jam session. Picken in the Park is brought to you by the Morristown Parks and Recreation Dept., the Fret Store and 106.5 WJDT.

• EWP Pro Wrestling is featured every Thursday night at the National Guard Armory in Morristown. Shows begins at 8pm. Be listening to 106.5 WJDT for your chance to win Free Tickets!

• It's back, The Downtown Morristown 4th Friday music festival and cruise in, every 4th Friday of the month on mainstreet downtown Morristown. Music, food, vendors, prizes, The Hamblen County Car Club car show and more. Don't miss the fun!!!

• ALPS Adult Day Services Caregiver Support Group meets the first Tuesday of each month at the ALPS facility, located at 600 N. Daisy St. Morristown. • Listen to WJDT FM Sunday mornings for Ruth Conry and Healing Waters Ministry from 9:30am-10:00am, Morningside Baptist Church from 10:00am- 11:00am and Calvary Baptist Church from 11:00am- 12:00noon. These programs can also be heard on Fibernet Channel 15 and worldwide on this website.
